WHAT IS HEALTH COACHING?

A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority helping clients feel their best through food and lifestyle changes by tailoring individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.

WHAT MAKES A HEALTH COACH UNIQUE?

Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person. A Health Coach focuses on overall lifestyle change, wellness, and nutrition by helping their clients find the right foods to support them in reaching their health goals, and to find a better balance in all areas of their life. As a health coach, I will give you the knowledge and advice you need, while coaching you along the way to help you reach your individual goals. 

MY TRAINING

After I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in business management from Quinnipiac, I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to tie in my true passion. While studying at IIN, I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between. I offer coaching programs that are one-on-one (online and in person), as well as group coaching. As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully, and we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice together to explore what truly works for you.

MY APPROACH

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health and happiness as a whole. I work with my clients to get in sync with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens, and your needs will change. I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. I work to solve root causes and prevent or ease future obstacles, instead of covering up underlying issues with some fad. I believe eating whole foods, staying active, and finding balance and happiness is most important. I personally suffer from food intolerances, so I understand what some clients are struggling with first hand. I want my clients to feel their best without feeling deprived in any aspect of their life. I have experience working with clients dealing with allergies and auto-immune disorders, as well as those looking to improve athletic performance, and others looking to stay healthy pre and post pregnancy. Recipes, exercises, breathing techniques, stress management... the list goes on. Together we’ll co-create your health goals within reasonable and sustainable time frames for the best possible outcome.
